Hello,

I have a Silver Match Convertible since more than 30 years in my pocket and since few months, flame is comming only one time on 20 / 25 sparks; flint is correct; gas tank is full; flame size adjustment does not change the problem.
I have second lighter identical but damaged kept for spare parts but I don't know were the problem is from...
Do you know this probem and, if yes, can you tell me what it could be.

Regards.
Willy.

Hi,
Great Site and very very informative.
I need help to reinstall the flint "wheel" of a Ronson Butane "VARAFLAME STANDARD" which I picked up new in a Flea Market.
The flint was as hard as a rock and had to remove the entire top section to access the hole and drill away the flint. However, for the reassembly I cannot get the wheel to turn when pressing to create a spark. This is because the wheel is not turning with the action.I would appreciate a diagram or picture which shows which side and direction the spring part next to the wheel is installed.
Thanks and hope yu can help.

Hi Ben, I hope you may have received or will shortly receive my Ronson Comet.

I know that if anyone may be able to repair it then that person will be you.

Best wishes from the Cotswolds UK

We repair the most of lighters since about 30 years.
We have spare parts from manufactures which no more exists...
